Ok brad I fig it out, The mag your using on your hood is one of your kids mag from there pictures on the fridge. turn it around and remove the glue try the car again then post the results.

Mine is a very early first run (built 6/7/02) convertible.

A magnet slides right off the hood, trunk lid, and side scoops.

Here is a free way to score a lightwieght hood. Take the stock hood off and drive without it, all of the cheap-ass ricers around here like to do it.
