What oil do you use?

I don't know if I'm searching in the wrong spot, but I can't find any threads on what oil people are using on their Mach 1's. I bought my 04 mach about 2 months ago and want to change the oil on it soon. What oil do you all use?

i use royal purple in motor, transmission and rearend, i think you are going to get alot of varying opinions on this matter. i prefer royal purple 5/20 for the engine!

i always use mobil 1 5-20..but that was when i worked at my dealership and got discounts..now im not sure what i should put in..since im on a college budget..lol

Mobile 1 5-20 Fully Sen ofcourse and the Mobile 1 Oil Filter. <- thats my college budget oil. Never had a problem with it, and it feels great.

I use castrol (sp?) and w/e the recommended weight is, also I use 6qts, but I have heard some use 7.

I use 5-5.75 quarts, I let my oil pan drain completely though, till it stops dripping. Depends if I want to buy a six pack or not.

Mach 1 OEM motors suggest 5w-20
Answer: 4.6 L = 4.86076 qt(US Liq)
OR 4 qt(US Liq) and 1.72 pt (US Liq)

5w-20 Valvoline,, 6 QTS with filter. Just use a Fram ultra gard filter. It works and isnt pricey. According to Mitchell on Demand, it takes 6 qts 5w-20, so thats what I go by.

mobil 1 fully syn. 5w20 for me, 6 qts. I have went 5 + lucas oil treatment before also, no recognizable benefit at that time however.

96-04 4valves all take 5-30 synthetic (6 qts for the mach) doesnt matter what the dip stick says.. 6 qts is full... (our dipsticks are off) t3650 should only use dexIII (which is nonsynthetic only) 3.0L... the diff oem fluid is synthetic 75-140 but eaton says to use nonsynthetic..
