What Size Spacer

Guys running a 17x10.5 wheel in back with a 315 tire, what size spacer pushes the wheel and tire out just enough that it is flush with the wheel well? In eyeballing it, it looks like maybe a 1" would do the trick, but I'm afraid that it would be too much. Any suggestions from guys running rear spacers with that size rear wheel and tire?

Do not do 1". I have 5/8th and it is on the verge of too big. 1/4th would be perfect.

I had the MM 1/4" spacers and ARP studs and worked perfect. 17X10.5 FR500 Also mine was on IRS.
