Seems like there are differing opinions everywhere. I've been wanting to do a turbo setup but the more I think about it the tvs may be a better option. A lot of people say high 10's in decent air with the 82mm and 93 with decent exhaust and a good tune. I've heard it would take more pulley and octane to go mid 10's and that would be pushing the short block. But I've seen a few on here running low 10's on 93 so it seems it can be done. I wouldn't mind doing a converter if it helps and some suspension as well but most say suspension is not really needed. Car would definitely be on 15" rears and skinnies up front. So what should my expectation be from an 82mm, 93 pump, a converter and a set of wheels and tires be. Most likely a good mid pipe and axle back too.

I did mid 10's without fats and skinnies or a converter. I ran an 82mm pulley/Roush airbox and a 93/Torco tune from VMP. I still have a stock, untouched converter. Feel free to PM me for any questions.

Your car is one I was talking about. What was your 10.06 setup? 82mm, 109, and a converter with a wheel setup? What about exhaust?

Mine went 10.52 with an original Roush blower before VMP had the Gen 2 released on the following.

Roush blower kit, stock air box, 82mm pulley.
Lethal off road H
Gt500 mufflers
275 MT drag radials, skinnies up front.

DA was around 500, no other weight reduction, 93 and some torco mixed in.

Gen2 with a 82, ms109 fuel, 258mm 2c, BMR front Swaybar delete and bolt on suspension, bigs/littles with Pro's, passenger and rear seat removed, and the da was in the +1200 range. The exhaust consists of long tubes, off-road x, and gt500 mufflers.
