You sign a government/financial/religious contract that completely favors the woman if things don't work out. What's the point? You can still love each other and be there for each other but not be married. I don't get it....

We aren't getting married, see no point, we live together and love each other, no need to prove it to anyone by throwing an overpriced partyYou sign a government/financial/religious contract that completely favors the woman if things don't work out. My wife does very well and is very supportive of my car hobby
Do it.... So what if they're two.
Man it’s a whole new me with that shop. If you’re able, do it. It’s a life changer. Like a playroom for big kidsMine too. I'm trying to talk mine into getting a shop like yours under the guise of turning wrenches with my boys. So what if they're two.
Good pointDo it.
Because they'll be twenty two before you know it.
Commitment. - you can have this without marriage
Legal. - you can also have this without marriage altho it does take more work to be sure both parties are on solid ground
Moral. - religious reason which is applicable to religious people. altho non religious individuals can be just as if not more moral than the religious.
Without it, I would have been thrown under the bus years ago.
I'm still on my first one at 63. If I was on the next one I'd probably feel the same way.Personally I think two adults planning to have kids should be married. two adults with no plans for kids is another matter. sandy and i have been together for going on 14 years and are not married. I have been there done that and will not do it again, and while she is not super happy about it I have made it clear that she will be well taken care of should I die first and she has adjusted to that
FTFYI have made it clear that she will be well taken care of should I die first and she has hoped for that
I worked for an old guy who once asked,FTFY
From a religious standpoint it makes total sense, but from a secular standpoint it really doesn't matter, but it is healthier for us to be with a partner.
These days marriage is a liabilty for men. Make sure you get a prenup
I think it USED to be that way. Modern women....no way in hell. You could say I'm painting with a broad brush, and there's probably some truth to that. But, have you tried to date, recently? There's nothing healthy about being with most of the women you meet from a physical, or psychological standpoint.
