My car just started making a grinding noise while turning to the right. I'm trying to figure out if its the wheel bearing or power steering pump. It only makes the noise when the car is in motion so if Im parked and turn the wheel from lock to lock there is no noise but when I'm moving it makes the noise. I believe its the wheel bearing but wanted to get opinions before replacing it.

If it only does it while in motion it is probably not the power steering pump. But that doesn't mean it's the wheel bearing. It could be a few other things, power steering rack, the front end bushings needing grease, steering arm bushings, or wheel bearings. Jack up the front end leaving the wheels hanging and try to rock the wheel up and down. If there is a lot of motion I would check the wheel bearings.
