Ok, here's the dealio. My current FR500s are trashed (tar, curbing, you name it) and my tires are bald. What better time to swap out for a new set of wheels? :coolman:
I've got 275/35 and 295/35 Continental ExtremeContact DW's on the way but need to pick a wheel to go with them.
I've ultimately decided to go with 18x9, 18x10 SVE Drifts but haven't chosen a color yet.
I'm conflicted because each color has it's pros and cons in my book.
Here's the car in its most current iteration:
Black:
Pro - looks sporty with the flat paint job and always goes well with yellow
Con - can't really see the details of the wheels except up close and can look like steelies from a distance
Silver:
Pro - shows off wheel detail well and will contrast nicely with tires
Con - painted finish doesn't look as good as a machined finish and may look plastic-like
