I recently sold a set of 4 valve Comp camshafts and the buyer is now asking me how to tell which camshaft is intake, which is exhaust, and which is right or left. I didn't pull it out and have no idea how to tell. How can he tell which camshaft is which?

Well if you look at the numbers that are on the cams they tell you where they go. I have stage 3 comp blower cams and here are the numbers on them. And I will tell you where they go.
106-461-9LE Driver exhaust
106-462-9LI Driver intake
106-463-9RE Pass exhaust
106-464-9RI pass intake
So if you look at the two last letters it will tell you you where they go left is driver side and right is pass side.

Thanks. I assume these cams have similar numbers.

I don't know about the numbers, but I think it would have the last two letters. Just tell the guy to look for the last two letters and that will tell him where they go.
Hope that helps.
