Just for fun i thought i would see what kind of response i would get. I have a king ranch f150 and have thought about doing a suspension lift soon. Out of the 4 options what would you guys/gals prefer.

1. Keep current truck and lift it
2. 2006-2007 Chevy Duramax 4x4
3. 2006 Ford F250 Powerstroke
4. 2008 Ford F250 Powerstoke
5. Dodge Cummins

I would most likely be lifting the truck and doing a bunch of aftermarket, and this is what you would want to besides the fact diesel is expensive right now lol.

If the '06 F250s had 7.3s then negative on that one, '08 F250s don't look very good to me, so negative on that one, and the Chevy is well.....a Chevy, so I'd keep what you got.

Why do you not list a 2500 Ram w/ Cummins power? Im on my 2nd one LOVE them!
My first was an '06 2500 Laramie QC 4x4 long bed, and I just bought an '04 2500 Laramie QC 4x4 short bed. Dont overlook these as being VERY good and reliable trucks.

hold out one more year, the powerstroke is getting a new set of turbochargers from garrett that increase power and fuel efficiency.

I drove a new '08 Chebby QC 2wd with the 6.0 gasser and Allison 6 speed and that thing moves out! Just dont like the looks.

I also drove several Fords with the 5.4 and they all felt soooo sloooow. I DO think Ford F150s have the best interiors across the board though. The Superdutys just cost so much, it took it out of my price range.

Soooo, I ended up buying the aformentioned '04 Dodge 2500 Cummins 4x4. Great power, nice interior (Laramie) and very reliable.

Go check one out before you write it off. You may be suprised.

if your going with a gas engine, look at the 6.8 liter V10 in the Ford.. 362 hp and 457 ft lbs torque (the Chevy 6 liter has 367 hp and 375 ft lbs torque) in a pickup torque rules..
