That's unfortunate....I know mine has been on for ten years now and nothing has deteriorated of seized. Maybe they used better hardware circa 2009.

Hardly. There is nothing proprietary about them - essentially just off-the-shelf bolts. They gave me no hassle when I asked for the specs so I could replace them on my own. Had I removed them first, it would have been easier to get the dimensions, but it was more convenient to buy new ones and make the swap in one sitting. Again, they were acquired from Fastenal.
