I'm a huge Steely Dan fan. Lately, I've bee obsessed with their most famous unreleased song, The Second Arrangement. This song was supposed to close out Gaucho, but an assistant engineer accidentally deleted it, so we got Third World Man instead. Over the years, several folks have attempted to stitch the song together from demos. This is my favorite version. The first thirty seconds are simply sublime.

Love Steely Dan.
Did you watch the documentary on the making of Aja?

Move on, nothing to see here.

Yeah, I've watched it a few times. It's pretty incredible. Hearing these songs broken down into their component parts really deepens your appreciation of the work.

I'm getting break-in miles on my new daily driver, so every night, I go out driving and listen to a different Steely Dan album after work. It's been wonderful.

Going a little different direction lately. Never been a huge fan of The Killers but this new song on their latest album is a good one. Has a very Johnny Cash like vibe to it, like in the storytelling and vocal style it feels.

I'm not usually the type to listen to the same song over and over, but this one is a heater. Came out in 2017 but has been recirculating via memes lately.
