The miners are screwing us.Still no darn 1080ti's within reason. Seems they jacked the price up 2-3 on them all.
Guys I am thinking about doing a custom loop along with a new case. I am thinking about the phanteks glacier gpu block for my 1080ti and the EK strix block for Z270 Mobo and CPU. I am trying to find a case (preferably in white) that is good for watercooling and can accommodate at least a 480 and 240+ rad. I think I want a full tower too. Any recommendations?

Yeah I looked at the Caselabs but I can't justify 500+ for a case I am thinking about the Thermaltake core P5. I think a single 480 rad should be able to cool my loop.480 is a decent sized rad, might look into a caselabs case, but they are $$$$$. I have a be quiet darkbase pro and I think it can only handle a 420.
It is insane how much the cards have gone up, even the AMD cards, their top of the line card was about $500 (vega 64). Right now is around $1200.Was thinking bout a 1080ti, even had money saved up for one. Dam miners. At least it gives me a chance to upgrade my CPU and Mobo for the time being
Honestly I am thinking about buying rigs with 1070/1080/1080ti's and parting them outIt is insane how much the cards have gone up, even the AMD cards, their top of the line card was about $500 (vega 64). Right now is around $1200.
The 1080ti doubled in price too. I kinda wish I knew the prices would have went up. Overcharge the miners.
I finally was able to order a 1080ti today. My question is, would I benefit from over clocking my processor in terms of gaming only? I only play PUBG.
My mother board is: asus m5a99fx pro r.20 am3+ amd 99fx sata 6gb/s usb 3.0 etc mother board
My processor is: AMD FD8320FRHKBOX FX-8320 FX series 8 core black edition
Please provide reasons for you answers. I've never overclocked anything. I do have a HUGE dual fan processor cooler now so i am not worried about heat but I will monitor it.
Off topic, i put my Sennheiser headphones up for sale locally. I am done with wired head wear.
I will try it as is once i get the card. What problems should i expect if it's too much GPU for my CPU?

Here ya goI'm almost afraid to ask, but what did it end up costing you? And what model was it exactly?
Yeah i fully accept i over paid. I really wanted a better 1080 ti but i already waited nearly 2 months. Time to let this 2k 165hz monitor shine.Yeah...these prices are insane. Either way, congrats on the upgrade!

I'm coming from a 970 so even not over clocked it will be a big upgrade for me.
