I drove my Cobra daily (except winters) with all levels of driving. I was not easy on the car by any stretch of the imagination. I never had a problem with the stock clutch. I'm sure , though, that the stocker won't last very long if you do a lot of racing at the track.

I am still on my stock clutch. 27k miles and 60+ passes at the strip.

The stocker is definitely on it way out though.

Upgrading to 26 spline CF over the winter.

Edit: I just realized this post is a year old!

Sorry about that.

Thats OK Carl, lets bring it back from the dead. :pop:

I smoked my stocker last night. It lasted 20,000 miles with 35-40 passes on 17" BFG Drag radials, but apparently it wasnt as excited about 5000 RPM dumps on 16" ET Streets as I was. So, after watching my 60 ft's go from the high 1.6's to high 1.8's, and my trap speeds drop, I have a 26 spline DFX and all the good stuff in the mail, cant wait! watch your back door Carl

I'm on the stock clutch still at 28k miles. Been pullied since 14k. Its still holding strong. I drive the car hard but I haven't been to the drag strip since the car was stock.
