I haven't tried it (I'm skeered ) but you should be alright for a little while if you don't have wheelhop or try 6000RPM clutch dumps. You're imput shaft may not last long though!
i ran them when i had the irs and my buddy has made plenty of runs with them on a stock irs as well. imo they are easier on the irs than drag radial, no wheel hop at all and the sidewalls help absorb the shock.
I've got about 30 launches on ET Streets. My lowest launch rpm was about 5300. I usually leave at about 6000. Completely stock IRS, suspension, clutch, and tranny... not a problem.
