Will my 03 Cobra 17x10.5 Rears fit my 2012?

I'm going to the track on Friday and have a set of 17x10.5 wheels from my 03 Cobra still kicking around with DRs on them. I figured before I wasted my time and tried them, I'd ask if they will fit? :shrug:

Yes they will fit. They'll stick out about 1/2" from the fender lip.

This is correct. We ran the same wheels on our 2011 GT and they worked great at the track, just going to stick out as mentioned.

what gears and trans are in the 12? and what size Dr?

I think they are the 315/35-17 Nitto DRs, the car is a stock '12 with 3.23s and a stick.

3.23? or 3.73? and that tire is a bit shorter than 26" if a 3.73 than you will probably be banging off the limiter in 4th going through the traps

Our car had 3.73's and with the stock tune we did have to use 5th gear.

No such gear my friend. The car has a 3.31, 3.55, or 3.73 rear.

If you have 3.73's and use that tire combo, you will in fact have to shift into 5th near the 1000ft mark.
