With a Ported Blower...

Which 2.8 Pulley do you recommend? RR Non Slip?
Which Idlers? 100mm? 90mm?
Which Belt?

I've already decided to go with the 2.8. Now I need to figure out the best pulleys to get.

Thanks in advance.

Your kidding right?

Ummmmm how much of a difference do you think there is between a 2.76 an a 2.80 as far as a daily driver is concerned.

any good brand 2.80 will do

South Florida Pulley HQ
Billetflow

regular or nonslip will do, I didnt gain anything vs a regular 2.80 vs a 2.80 RR nonslip I had on the dyno.

Belt -- 74 or 74.5" will do. I have 3 Idlers on mine and run a 74.5" Gatorback, and have ran gates as well both are good belts, just dont go too tight it will lose some performance.

100mm Upper Idler at a minimum for idlers.

Well, considering I was going with the 3.10 to begin with, 2.76 is a big step.

Has anyone else had problems with the ultra grip shredding belts?

100mm up top...so what other idlers do you guys recommend?

 seems like you were gonna go with the 2.8??? If you don't want the 2.76, get the billetflow 2.93.

I used a 2.80 direct press on from south florida pulley HQ with no idlers and the gatorback 73.5" belt.

Absolutely no slip whatsoever.

I currently use a 2.93 south florida pulley hq direct press on with a gatorback 74" belt.
Same results!

So if I go with a 2.80 or 2.93 blower pulley thats all I need with a tune? no idler etc.?

Idlers are there to prevent slippage. If you dont get them it is doing it half ass.

think a 2.76 is bad...combine that with a 4# lower. I am either doing that or a 2.93 and 6# lower. I have the 2.76 now and no issues. I also have a 100mm aux. idler

I run a 2.76 RR upper and a 4lb Metco lower and it got me 460 RWHP and 545 RWTQ. Combo has been working perfect for 15,000 miles now. No slip with a Billet Flow 100MM Aux Idler.

IVE been debating on what size pulley to get as well... my apten should be here in about a week or so and ive been up in the air about a 2.80 or 2.93 .... alot of guys are making just as much power with the 2.93 and having less or no belt slippage so im leaning toward the 2.93 unless somone can prove the 2.80 makes a much bigger differnce than the 2.93 .. any input guys????
