On way to work yesterday coming to a stop saw some whine smoke come out from under hood. Dropped car off at dealer and they took a look and guessed the rear main seal was leaking. They went to fix it and said after dropping transmission it looks like leak is coming from counter shaft seal. At the moment they're just waiting on Ford to approve fixing this under powertrain warranty, luckily this happened with 59k miles on car, lol.
In any case, was just wondering think I should tell to replace the clutch as they already got transmission off? Or would it be silly to replace before needed?
