Bench racing thread for sure but I'm curious. Mods are in my sig biggest thing holding me back is I still have the stock throttle body and cats. From my understanding I need a bap to jump up to an aftermarket throttle body. Tvs has a 2.4 pulley and I'm on the stock gears. So I should be over 600rwhp. What do you guys think. 1/4 mile or a roll race, how would I do?

My buddy has a 13 with a tune and offroad X. I can put a pretty good whipping on him but i am about 100 rwhp more than him. I think a stock one might still have the edge on you by a bit, especially a PP car with 3.73's. Probably a drivers race. As soon as 13-14 does any mods to the car and you stay the same game over.

They don't come with 3.73's. All of the 13/14's have 3.31s.

With that being said, I'd bet the stock 13/14 would still beat you.

Between 100 and 150 lbs, advantage 13/14.

Well it should be on the lower end. I've done a little weight reduction nothing crazy but I should be at least 30lbs -50lbs lighter than stock and I've got the power advantage. So it should be fairly close.

I'm betting on you. My 09 with a TVS with 2.5 pulley, stock throttlebody, C&L CAI , off road x, 3.73's went a best of 10.71 @ 131, but it was consistent 129-130. Plenty enough to pull a 125 car.

Finally someone lol. I mean I think with a throttle body and my cats gone I'm beating a stock one easily. How much power did you make with those mods?

Did you dyno yet? Usually a drivers race with High HP cars with Manual trans..... but you likely have 50+ Rwhp over a stock '13, so nod in your direction. Amazing power in the '13 GT500 for a stock car.

Never put on a dyno but I'd guess 630 to the ground. More than enough to handle a stock 13/14 with 580ish. And your pushing a pound or so more boost than my car was.

^ This. My buddy's Gen2 gt500 got smashed by a stock '13 5.0 manual from a light. Many many lengths.

Second generation GT500? (ie 11-12) or a GT500 with a VMP GEN II TVS? If it's the latter, he clearly has a defective one. ;)

08 gt500 with Vmp genII. He bought the genII from you a few weeks ago. It's definitely a tire issue and he was very embarrassed. 5.0 prolly tell everyone how bad his car is now.

Oh, brother.

Unless he's in the lower tier of states and has killer tires, that GEN II is gonna WAY overpower a street rubber setup this time of year.
