Would 275's look stupid on 10.5 inch wheels on the rear?

Thats right, I forgot the heat soak problem.
Just yank the blower off, put it on e-bay, and use the proceeds for new wheels.
Mine runs fine without one (You'd probably get a bit bored with the acceleration, though). LOL

Greg, I think the time stamp on the thread gets updated every time someone votes. I noticed the same thing with my opinions wanted thread and your SN.

Having said that I see now that 3 people have said it would look ok. I think all 3 of these people either drive imports, or wish they did, because they are the only group I know of that stretches tires onto wheels and then talk about how good it looks.

3 peeps have said it would look fine, are these "jokers"????:lol:

Scott, roll bar, cooling mods and suspension...I ran in 18's.

Oh, better get some new brake pads and remove the dust boots...think that is what went up in flames on mine...

When I got black flagged and had to pit, the guys says and I quote

"You are literally melting the pads to the rotors" like Lava i guess..

then he said, well, if you go slow you can go back out..

Out again we went to kill what was left of the poor old stock pads

I think Doug is correct, your wheels are probably 10" wide, in which case you want the 305. As for the springs though, I have those springs on my car now (the H&R SS springs) and the car is so low that the bolt in question is actually inside of the wheel...so the tire can't rub. lol. I'll swap out the bolts eventually though, because it does hit the tire when I jack the car up, and it's a little annoying.

Yeah, I wish I knew this before grinding the shit out of the bolt head to put on a wider tire. When I lowered the car, and looked in the spoke of the wheel, I was soooooo pissed. I woke up supper early to grind that ****er down.

Fantasy Nascar? I want in!

Ken, it will look bad. I had 275 Nitto DR's on my 10.5" FR-500's, it looked like ass.

my car came with 275s and 10.5 wheels in the back and ya it does not look good it also effects the contact patch of the tire I think. I cant wait to get 315s if. That is if i can find some nice used ones.
