Want to buy for FR-500 intake manifold upper lid , only ( as pictured ) .

The fr500 upper lid is different than the 99-01 cobra or 03-04 Mach 1 lower so you would need the fr500 lower to work. Here's the fr500 lower and a 03-04 Mach 1 lower( green top)

I know, I'm looking for FR500 intake manifold top cover, similar to the cover pictured , this cover is specified to be installed on FR500 intakes to install in vehicles FORD MUSTANG COBRA 99-01 and MACH 1 03-04 , your first picture corresponds to a 96-98 COBRA fr500 intake manifold .

Your second picture corresponds to stock / oem lower intake manifold from 99-01 COBRA and 03-04 MACH 1 , NOT FR500 intake manifold .

IM LOOKING FOR THE UPPER LID ONLY ( SAME AS PICTURED ).

I think he was just trying to warn you that you cant use the fr500 lid with the stock lower intake, you would need a fr500 lower.

The picture you put is the version of the FR500 intake manifold for 96-98 COBRA , that model I have one, all the FR500 intake manifold are for "C" Type heads, just what I look for is a cover or lid for the version of FR500 intake manifold for 99-01 COBRA .

It would probably be easier for you to find a complete intake, which isnt easy by any means.

However if your not stuck on the fr500 i have a nice roy psri if your interested in that

It is very likely but do not want to lose hope of finding a top of these, if not I'll have to sell my FR500 intake .
