Might be a long shot, but would anyone trade his "cobra" driver side air bag for a 03 mustang gt "running horse" air bag??? A buddy of mine is converting his gt into a Fobra and he is very attention to details.

what color and year is your buddy's car? 94-98 cars have different interior colors and plugs from the 99-04 cars.

My wife is doing a Mach 1 Tribute with her 96' (Her idea of what it would have been had it been offered in 96.)

She bought a wrecked 01' Cobra and wants the running pony air bag, hers is charcoal too and in perfect condition.
