I have my build all laid out with exception of cam. This has been the most frustrating aspect and the most vulnerable to **** up. I am doing springs and retainers so no need for NSR. JDM SS and BPS seem to be the most well received for street strip. Neither provide any specs so I cannot compare them objectively.
From what I can tell, JDM follows a high lift philosophy, which can be hard on the valve train.
The BPS street version appears to have less lift and does a good job of adding power across the powerband.
Anyone have recommendations either way? I am leaning toward the BPS but can be convinced otherwise. Thanks
