OK I just purchased my first L, completely stock with 110,000 miles, I believe the cats are shot due to searching for the sound I am hearing while driving. So I would like to buy the bassani off road y pipe and catback. Do they make an X pipe setup too? And I've read that I will get a CEL with a catless setup, do I HAVE to have some type of tuning to run catless? I dont think I will get CEL with O2 bung extenders

I turned my sensors off when I went catless. I'd send you my exhaust if it weren't so damned expensive to do so, since I'm going with a completely different setup. Currently straight 2.5" pipe to a silver bullet catback, no cats or mid. Its obnoxiously loud.

how did u turn them off? with a controller, or by your tuner?

The Bassani catback will include an X pipe just before both mufflers

can the o2 sensor be turned off with a predator.

I'm getting ready to make my own 2 cat mid-pipe. I already made my own catback system. Get a Magnaflow X-pipe and 2 small mufflers. I went with Dynomax race bullets. They have a pretty good tone and are loud. If you want some help, I have a shop about 3 hours from you.
