What is your list of cars in the performance "Food Chain"?

Only use cars that are seen on a "somewhat regular basis" on the street, not including exotics or cars costing more than $100K factory as a boundry.

Listing them being modded is ok, or you car make a list of them stock.....you chose.

I will start off, here is mine off the top of my head with an average of modded and non-modded so you can get an idea:

1) Z06 Corvettes
2) Vipers
3) Toyota Supra
4) Terminators and GT500s
5) Regular C5 & C6 Corvettes
6) EVOs (late models)
7) STi (late models)
8) Lightnings (S/C'd versions)
9) SRT10s
10) Formula T/As and SS Camaros (late models)
11) Pre-2003 Cobras (late models)
12)Z28s and T/A (late models)
13) Mustangs GTs
14) SRT4s
15) 350Z

Yeah, I did not think of those....

Its a hard list in a way. Cuz most Terminators are modded and can be very fast really easily as well as some of the other cars at the top of the list....

I just put it in order of how "intimidating" a car/truck can be when you pull up to it at a light, knowing nothing about what has been done to it or if its stock.

If you're gonna list the supra, you've got to include the 300ZX TT - plenty of those running around with 600+rwhp

Maybe a slight exageration, but they definately fit the bill ("somewhat regular basis") as you can still pick one up for half of what a supra will run you:shrug:

Take no offence dude but all the turboed 300Zs I've encountered at the track have run abysmal times IE. 14-15 seconds. The last one I raced on the street I stoutly beat hands down. In the three years I've been on this site I've never seen a video of a 600hp 300z killing anything. Just my observations.

If you've got the time, check out twinturbo.net

[flame suit on]
They're a strong platform that can get close to terminator power levels just about as easily...
[flame suit off]

But then again, I'm back in the Mustang camp now:beer:

Well then! I'm honored;-)

Since the wife took the kids out to get ice cream, I had a minute to dig up a couple of 300zx tt vids for you:rockon:

In that case I'd be most intimidated by a Cobra...you have NO idea whats under the hood until you hear the whine (unless it has cams...which there aren't many)

if a corvette is faster than when it came from the factory you'll hear the lope of the cam.

I was going by Supras that are modded.....usually they are heavy modded and won't get you from a dig right away but put a hurting on you from a roll and once the get moving.

Sorry to tell you, but from a dig, stock for stock, a L will hand a Z or a normal TA it's ass. The WS6's and SS's, well, with those it can go either way.

Yeah, I had a hard time with some of those. Not an exact science for me.

I kinda figured in that I see more modded L's than modded F bodys.....unless ALL f bodys are in sleeper mode. Which I am sure some are.
