Clicking off a 7:25 full lap in a 20YO M3. Lots of ways to go fast. Does that mean his M3 is "better" than every car that is slower?

I preach the exact opposite of what you may think I'm saying. Faster lap times have almost nothing to do with what's a better car. The best track car is the car that gets you the most laps without breaking down lol and the best car is the one that makes you the happiest. All I know about this zl1 is it is freaking fast and in a way that shocked people like the GTR did.

Well, if that's the case, a 1995 Escort GT may be in your future.

The Z06 thread. One of the guys said that his 1995 Escort GT is a better track car than a new Z06.
Ahh never saw that thread. If you are racing with a bunch of buddies in low end cars it would be a better haha. Bump to pass is fun. Lots of rich dudes in spec miatas...

Randy Pobst did lap the ZL1 1LE at MRLS, and the results are stunning. He managed a 1:34.30
Almost got to the holy grail time of 1:33.

Thats a good article big reg. Z 1LE is a beast, fast in straights and on a real race track.

So Randy beat the engineer lol. Not what I heard from the track. Lol also that 675lt does not have the track record but it makes their story easier.

I've never wanted a camaro until this car. Reading that article shows that Chevy did "cheat" but aren't hiding it and are selling the car like that. I can't wait to experience it
Tell me about it man. The car can be setup for any track or driver in a few minutes so to speak. The fact we are talking about a ****ing CAMARO in the same sentence as the ACR or any other extreme track style car is what gets me. We're not even mentioning Mustang right now

But we're comparing the Camaro to the previous ACR. lol

That's like comparing the GT350R to the previous gen ZL1.
