I purchased the car bone stock from a dealer in Columbus Ohio spring 2007. Im the second owner, and the car is kept garaged in the winter time. I’m currently looking for a 2003-2005 Evolution or 2007-2008 Trail Blazer SS...
Just got my wheels done by these guys, so I figured I plug them
$90 per wheel for standard refinish ANY COLOR
$110 per wheel Straighten and refinish
$65 per wheel for single stage gloss black powder
$11 mount and balance under 17"
$12.50 mount and balance up to 20"
$600 for...
Went to the track tonight and was 12mph down from what I usually trap (went 111mph, usually go 122). It felt like it fell flat on its face when I shifted to second. I felt no clutch slip, and have a 2.76 with a 100mm idler so I doubt its belt slip. Battery light has been coming on at WOT...
Ive been seeing HORRIBLE gas milage recently and found that my h-pipe had a leak at the drivers side manifold. I fixed that but went to my tuner just to double check cruising fuel trims. He said my drivers side O2 is 5-6% different from my right side at idle and cruising (my understanding is...
Took the Cobra to the track today for a local meet. Car made 506/478 and is full weight, nitto 315 drs, stock irs and cut springs. Ran several high 11s and low 12s. I did quick rolling burnouts to clean the tires off and put them at 18psi.
Best of the day was:
60": 1.981
1/8: 7.759...
I just recieved mine in the mail today from LFP and have a couple questions. First, do most people hook up the vacume switch. Second, what percentage should it be set at with the mods in my sig. Im running slightly lean at around 5500rpms.
I had a small dent removed from my roof by a guy doing sidework for dent wizard here in Ohio. Since he worked on it the liner in the back (the cardboard and cloth part) hangs down and wont clip or stick to the metal roof. Does anyone know how they attach it from the factory and what I could do...
Got the car on the dyno yesterday after a port/pully and 4 months storage. 506whp/478wtq. Seems about average from what ive seen. Goes lean (12.2AFR) at 5500 rpm so a BAP is getting ordered this week. It really hauls ass though, I cant wait for a 100 shot.
Posted a couple pictures in interior/exterior forum, but there is more exposer here. Should I buy another grill or keep the delete that I did myself (filled holes and painted with bumper black). Any input would be nice.
I just installed 315-35-17 Nitto DRs and want to see how I will compare to others with the same/different combos. My best on my 01 Kenne Bell GT with 315 Summis was a 2.0 60' hah.
A local guy has a complete NX EFI wet kit that he wants to sell cheap ($350). I really like the idea of the NOS plate in their kit, but ive never used NO2 on any car before. Does anyone know if the plate is compatable with the NX kit and if so where can I get just the NOS plate?
Im in the process of filling the holes where the emblem bracket was. I havnt seen anyone use the stock grill piece to do this so here are some pictures. I still need to paint/clear it tmw.
Since the 315-35-17 MTs are on back order untill April now (Im a retailer and called them last week), Ive been looking at either the BFG or Nitto drag radial. My experience with the Nittos is that they dont hook well but last. Ive heard that the BFGs hook really well, but would it be too much...
I just installed a ported setup w/ a 2.76 upper and I want get it tuned one time instead of multiple so im considering a 100 wet plate kit or a 2/4lb lower. What kind of power gains does a ported setup see with a 2.76 and a lower? Im sure I can get into the mid 600s with the NO2 but if I can...
Finally got around to installing a ported blower/pully. Let me just say a 74.5" belt, 2.76 pully and the 100mm snub idler makes it hell to put the belt on. Im amazed by the clearance on the 2 new pullies, there is no way it can slip!
I installed my ported blower last night and one of the aluminum bolts that hold the IC to the blower broke inside the blower. Being a sealed system (and having 2 tight bolts beside it) how crucial is it to tap out and replace these bolts?
Should I...
1: Put a DR on my stock wheels if so which (BFG, nitto, or MT) and what size?
OR
2: Put a DR on a 17x10.5 wheel if so which and what size? And at the same time put MT ET streets on my stock wheels.
I will be putting a stage IV w/2.76 upper and jlt rai, and have midpipe...
If I want to put ET streets on my stock wheels are tubes required. I looked at Jegs and they said the tires require tubes to hold air, but I have never heard anyone on here talking about it.
