But with the simple bolt on of a Whipple 3.3 you can make over 800 easy. I say 800 because after that the rods play a factor. Thats why I went with the built aluminum block

Or toss on a 150 shot and make 650RWHP like greg is making...

He races in the Summit series as well as his daughter. This will be his daily driver so to speak and then when its race time, his daughter will race this and he will race his other truck is the way I understand it... Stan

My thanks to:bowdown:Dante and his crew at DMP.
Dante's attention to the small dealtails is very impressive and kept the install stock looking.

Dante set up the SCT tune but didn't run the motor at his shop
because I was still working on the fuel rails. I trailer the truck to my shop
for the final assembly. The motor fired right up and ran great.
I made some minior A/F adjustment to the SCT tune myself.

With 300+ break in miles, we went to the 1/8 mile Irwindale dragway last night.

I lost 4 out of 4 to my daughter driving our other 'detuned' race truck. :D

The 4 valve Shelby GT-500 powered truck is a 91 octane DAILY DRIVER and
will not be "boosted up". Sorry, but that's what I want for now.
I'll enjoy it for what it is.

Anyway,:bowdown:Dante is almost finished with the all aluminum 4 valve, 3.3 whipple, "race motor" for my race truck.

2005 Az FFW TT Champion
2006 Ca FFW TT runner up

Ok, Ok here's the number,
best was a 8.2 at 87 mph in the 1/8

That was with 30 inch MH's.
I'll be installing the 4:10s (has a 2400 stall already, could be changed to 3200) and maybe going to a 28 inch tire
to take advantage of the GT's 6000 rmp shift points.
Should get a solid 8.0 then, maybe a 7.9
