hood vents and heat

sweet, so right now with my stock vents I shouldn't have to worry when I wash my car???, it all should be fine??

What I do when I wash it is take a bath towel and lay it under the hood where the vents are. Then when you spray the water just keep a good stream going to the windshield away from the vents. It also helps if you have a good wax on the car as well.

No issues. It actually gives me a excuse to wipe everything down under the hood, or you could do what's posted below.
