It's probably safe to say that you know more about the construction of these cars than anyone. If you ever want to get rid of the M58 catback, let me know!

I did learn a lot, and the M58 is staying.
Just finished waxing the car.....................

How does then car run untuned? Given the stock computer and fuel injectors larger than a regular 4v engine, how does it all work on firing it up? Who is doing your tuning? What fuel rails are you using and MAF?

Mach 1 fuel rails widened, all Mach 1 stuff, including knock sensors.
Part of the exercize was to use as many OEM parts as possible.
Wound up with 99%.
It has a mail order tune from Eric Brooks right now.

Ummmmmmmmmmm, I just got it running yesterday
after a 4 year development phase, and a 3 week flog.
It is not as expensive as people might think.
Also, I did give it a nice WOT run today.
A person riding with me,
who has ridden in Al P.'s black car gave it a good comparison power wise.
I think Al's 400 number was a little conservative.
This car flat out rips.
New, detail pics in a sec......................

Want it to be as factory appearing as possible.
Remember, this vehicle was used for kit development.
If the stock Mach 1 or 99-01 Cobra hose fits, (which it does)
a CAI should also.

It depends on what you start with, and how far you want to go.
6k is a good start if beginning with a 32V car.
I know of one person doing it (successfuly) on a 6k budget,
and he is UNDER budget.
It is still in process.

I bet you'd get alot of gain from a CAI. That big ol thing wants to breath. Now that you've proved your concept, call JLT! :burnout:

I will more than likely hook up with Steeda,
as I have a good history with them.
Dyno as is first, and go from there.
I think it might need an STB also.
