Seems there is interest for others wanting to do this.

As far as the MAF wiring.

The purple wire gets disconnected completely from the MAF and goes to one end of the IAT.

The blue wire gets split, we used a connector that crops into the wire and ran it to the other end of the iat.

That way you get the signal you need for the maf, and for the iat. If you do not split the blue wire, it will screw with the MAF sensor and put the car into limp mode.

The Lightning Screw in Part #'s for the Sensor and Pig tail are

so split you mean splice? meaning add it to the IAT sensor wires? but leaving it connected to the maf correct?

I took forever searching for all of this info a few weeks ago lol I just got everything in, I plan on starting the install in a few weeks. The info you posted on the install makes relocating it seem a lot easier than I was expecting.

I still don't get it, why would one need this

Biggest reason I could think of is meth. Don't wanna spray pre-MAF as all the residue would build up in the sensor, etc. the MAF in these cars also read IAT's. Spraying meth post-MAF would help but the computer would still pull timing because the MAF is reading the air pre-meth. By moving the IAT sensor post MAF, you can spray before it without doing harm and the computer will read the drop in IAT's resulting in keeping good/safe/more timing. All while not screwing with the MAF

I think that's what I meant to say... Lol I'm on a phone so damn the typo's if there are any.

In the drawing, what and where is the IAT? I know it's a sensor but which one or is it added? And where does it go? Pics would be awesome.

If water gets on your Maf it will go dead rich i have seen it happen with leaky intercoolers.

Thank you sir

Starke I wasn't necessarily referring to 100% meth as most don't run it. Was more referring to meth/h2o. Prob shoulda clarified.

Ok so anyone looking to do this mod, you need a 37/64th's drill bit and 3/8's pipe thread tap. It works great! My iat's drop into the 60's in 100 degree weather.
