Less hp with a custom tune ?? Proof please

people with Lund tune have about 640 RWHP , Whipple tune will give you 700+
The Whipple tune is amazing.

If you switch to E85 then the Lund tune will give you around 800 RWHP.

No doubt Whipple has a great product and tune with their kit, however dyno numbers do not tell the whole story. I have not seen many custom tuned Whipple 15+ cars, but the ones I have seen are trapping 133+, the fastest trap speed from a Whipple tune car I have seen is 127. Weight, da, and mph tell me what I need to know.

we've done quite a few hellion setups, stock block cars running low 9s!! so far! and some other hellion kits dipping into the 8s already

^ I would like to see a timeslip for that car.

That should be 9.9-10.2 @ 138-140mph in a 2015GT with the PD blower

The Whipple is nice if you don't plan on changing your converter. The Kenne Bell is a good looking blower but supposedly you have to remove the blower to change plugs or check plugs

Can’t quote numbers, but changing from whipple to Lund tune made mine feel much more sedate - until the boost, when I’m simply trying not to spin and crash. I can say it doesn’t run as rich now, and is more daily driver friendly, but honestly feels less powerful on avg. no dynos in town..
