hi, just picked up my first Shelby, its a 2011 gt500. Im really enjoying it, the last mustang I had was the old fox body cars. Ive looked thru the internet and have been studying the production numbers on the cars. Id really like to get a detailed build sheet on my car and have it laminated to bring to car shows. In my research I found links to a deluxe build sheet for 46$ thru fordshowparts.com but it seems like they don't do this service anymore. Can someone post a link or give me some direction to get a detailed build sheet? thanks!

That blower's off of a 13/14 GT500, and a pillar gauges, etc etc.

Get the tune checked by a reputable shop before you beat on it, please. My car when I bought it was on 22-23lbs of boost on pump gas....woulda went boom. Just some words of wisdom

Thanks! It has a bama tuner with it, seems like peak boost is around 16 psi. It runs great. I want to jack it up and see if it has headers or cats. It’s kinda loud but sounds great, looks like they’re no mufflers.

That's actually a 1st gen VMP TVS blower. Looks similar to the 13/14 mentioned above, but being it's a VMP unit (vendor on this site and EXCELLENT GT500 tuner) I would call them right away for a tune.

Dump the Bama stuff asap.

Are the tail lights 13/14 or are they stock lights that are tinted? This is the first gt500 I’ve got to look at up close so I’m still learning what’s stock and what’s not.

Looks like stock tails.
What rear tire is that? Make sure you have room when you start playing.
These cars can overpower the tires, quick!

The rear tires are nittos, not sure the model but they are 315’s. I’m going to check the back because when I go over big bumps I can hear something banging in the back like it’s bottoming out slightly. Tires don’t appear to be rubbing.

Check & make sure all components are tight. Look at the inside sidewall for rubbing. With 315's, it may be contacting the bumpstop bracket behind the tire/wheel.

What is a detailed build sheet exactly? Anyone have an example?

It basically tells you how many cars were made with your color, packages, interior color, and options. It also give production date and other info.

I received a email reply from shopfordgear.com and they are no longer doing them.

I called fords customer service at the number provided above and got no where with someone in India. I tried the other number and they referred me to the first number. Lol
