Scared my dad today.

I’ve got family visiting and I took my dad out for some “spirited runs” this afternoon. He said: “I think I just crapped my pants!”

He also commented during the Cobra R and Shelby runs that he was surprised the gears didn’t “rip right out of it!”

Good father-son bonding!

Awesome bro! I took my dad for a ride in my Scat. He said, “Runs good but definitely not as fast as your 03 Cobra you had.” Lol! Then I got it sideways and he about died. But he was grinning from ear to ear. He’s 74.

Thanks for the comments guys! My dad lives a long way away... we don’t get to spend much time together. The fun we had in my cars was memorable for both!

Had to run an errand today. I told my dad it was his turn. It required some convincing on my end (he hadn’t driven manual in years). He peeled-out on his hill starts, but had some fun!

I am very fortunate to have my Dad with me to enjoy my hobby. He is an old racer and car junkie. He taught me most all I know.

This was Texas World Speedway in March 2017. We were hitting 140 on the front straight. He is 84 and going strong.
