Very nice, my most recent project was to winterize the car and you're getting ready to dangle your legs over the side of that beautiful pool, I hate you

How much of it would you say you knew before starting this entire project?

Looks great, nothing like knowing you did the majority of the work yourself too, it makes it all that more enjoyable

Like I said it isnt landscaped yet. I will be adding the fire pit plus three Fox Tail Palms, a Robellini Palm, and a bunch of Crotins.

I still want to be able to see the water and my boat.

Nice choice of palms! I had a stamped and stained concrete patio put in a couple years ago and had them leave me a 3' diameter circle in the middle so I could plant a Fox Tail palm. It looked great for about a year, but sadly the freeze we got while I was out of town last winter killed it.

What would it have cost to have it built by a contractor?

I had three major pool companies quote me between $28K-$30K without any landscaping or the solar heat.

Awesome job!! That looks great!

Thanks. I am happy how it turned out.

post pics of your entire house please

What do you mean by entire house?

And pm your address for the pool party.

Looks good man! Nice work!

Pool Party coming soon.

I have done a lot of contracting work in the past. I General Contracted two of my own houses and built a 1200 sq/ft addition on my old house in NJ, but I never built a pool before. So, I basically understood the concept and design but not much more. Now, I could easily build a more complex pool. The biggest thing is the plumbing with flow rates and returns, etc.

That looks awesome man! Is there anything you can't do?!

I always try to challenge myself.

Large Fox Tails are pretty hearty. In this area of Florida 8' + fox tails can survive the freeze without being covered. I have a few smaller Christmas Palms and they are not hearty and die pretty easily in the cold weather.

Turned out great, and smart move on the pavers. Not sure if I missed it, what type of interior finish did you use, quartz, pebble, etc?
