Hello guys...

Not that the my Orange car isnt done yet, we had another car come in. The Shop it was at before...really....****** this car up to say the least. It has a FAST XFi box/harness and its been difficult to wire tuck, but here are some progress pictures...and the run-down...

Whats in it already:
-Stock Cobra Crank
-Carillo Rods
-Lightly ported B heads
-ARP Hardware Top and Bottom
-Comp 1 Cams
-Full Aeromotive system
-Vortec YSi Race trim Supercharger
-KW Coil overs Front & Rear
-Tremec TKO
-FR 3:73
-Stock Exhaust w/SLP mufflers (WTF)
-No Intercooler
-Siemen 120# (I think are WAY to big for this application)

What we're gonna do:
-Full Wire-Tuck & FIX the wiring....
-Fix the Fuel system (dont understand how they ****** this up so bad)
-MMR Black Fuel Rails
-Full Custom Stainless Steel Exhaust system
-Hellion Intercooler / Intercooler Piping (We're a Hellion Dealer)
-Coil on Plug Conversion (03/04 Termi VC's)
-MSD Coil Packs
-Custom billet 8-rib pullie conversion
-MMR EGR Delete
-Air Injection Delete
-Accufab TB
-Alot of painting ****
-Battery going in the trunk

Now this isnt MY single handed project / work, its me with my friend Justin from CRE (Coffman Race Engines), we've been building some sick stuff together for about 9 years now, and he taught me alot about electrical stuff and he got me into wire-tucking.

Removed the Secondary butterflies (the shop had them kept open with wire...)

Ok, Obviously were not keeping the rails, but used them for the mock-up for the wire tuck...heres where we're at now...the Whole engine harness is on the car, trans harness, everything electrical is hooked up (well 98%)

You should move here...you'd make more power! LOL

It honestly wouldnt have costed so much if we didnt have to fix / buy all these other parts...

Very nice! Please tuck that hood latch cable through the fender though. It's super easy to do and it doesn't take very long at all to do.

Holy crap! Nice job.

Now I'm sure you don't want to give away all your trade secrets as far as the wire tucking goes (considering working on cars seems to be your lively hood), but for those of us who are so far away and will never have the chance to bring our cars to you, could you give us a few basic tips on how you go about doing all that.

Unfortunately my car basically looks like the first couple of pics and I would love to clean it up a bit under there.

Well, its not all I do, trust me theres not enough money in it for me to play how I play ;) But when my business is slow, it keeps me entertained to work and play on cars at the shop.

Basic tips? Hmmm. Id start with a battery relocation. Its pretty simple actually, just look at the wires and ask yourself how to make them better....remember, there is lots of room under the manifolds ;)

Fresno isn't to far from San Jose.. How much do you think you would charge for a wire tuck?

I would also love to know how you do all that wire tucking!!... My car is also a wiring catastrophe! :( I don't even know where to begin when trying to tackle something like this. It would be awesome if you were able to post pictures of where it all went??..... Do you have to extend any wires, or can you start unplugging everything and move it to the fender wells or under the manifold?

Unless you don't want to give away your methods, this would be awesome for you to do for us that can't reach you! ;)

Well, doing a huge ass wire tuck isn't really CA emmision friendly, cause we remove EGR/EVAP friendly

For a Full Wire Tuck including; COP Valve Covers, OEM 03/04 Coils, COP Harness, Injector harness tuck, battery relocation, fuse box relocation, headlight wire tuck & Main harness relocation would run about $1,500

We can do stuff for less to, but itll take the COP conversion and battery location additions....

Well I already have a full COP harness, battery relocation, EGR/EVAP delete. All I would need is a headlight, mainharness, and injector harness tuck.. I'm not to sure if I want the fuse box tucked, because that would be a total bitch to troubleshoot if a fuse blew out ahahaha.

Here's 2 pics of my engine bay for reference :D

Negative, still A/W it's getting the job done and not heatsoaking and still making awesome power so no need to change it..

looks like someone had win sauce on every meal they had during the build process lol. videos?

I already have the battery relocation kit installed, and like 98 said, I don't think I would want the fuse box tucked either. But, everything else I would love to have done other than the COP conversion. Hell if I could get my engine bay to look as good as yours 98SaleenCobra I would be happy! How do hide the main and headlight harnesses is my big concern? I think I could hide the injector harness under the intake manifold fairly easily. Where does the main harness go into the fender wells? Do you have to drill spot for it all to enter or something?

Well, if I told you how to do it then we wouldn't have any more business. :p

To do what you want, 98SaleenCobra, would start at about $600, its pretty involved...

I'd say move the fuse panel. Its not hard to get to, just jack it up, pull the wheel off, pull the plastic liner back and its right there....
