Simply amazing! Over 30 hp/psi!
I'd so love to have this kit. Although I wouldn't run anywhere near 13 psi.
^^ these numbers are on stock block and tranny? if so, wow ... these motors and trans hold up more than I thought
Yes sir. car has less that 5,000 miles on it.
Keep in mind, that the converter is not holding lockup during the pull so the numbers are probably just a hair higher.
Wow.. that's just crazy still.
And these bottom ends aren't forged are they? I'm amazed of how much power they hold up
Nope. Ford calls the rod forged but it's a powered metal forging. Stronger than normal but not what we are typically used to when we talk about forging in the aftermarket. They are obviously strong.
What about the pistons?
I think these motors at 500whp will last for a while... (since they're holding up to 700whp+)
Not forged.
They will last forever at 500rwhp. I'd said 560-580 can be pretty reliable.
I'm pretty sure a lot of FI guys run 10psi on pump gas.
Now I am really anxious to see the numbers from a Boss!
I was kind of hoping for this as well. A nice 700rwhp on pump setup. Seems like it should be ok with 10psi..Is there any hope for 10 psi on pump gas? I have been following the big thread on MF and I know you are on race gas now IIRC. Great work!

Are you referring to the pump gas part, or just about a stock engine?
There are a few cars here in Dallas making great numbers and still staying together. There's a 3.6 KB car making 872/740 through the stock auto/stock converter. Stock motor.
It's nice to see others making big power with stock internals.
Hmm, so even with 10psi and a newer motor that deals with cooling better than previous motors it would still be an issue on 93? Not doubting you at all, I guess I just thought it's be different by now...The pump gas part. On race gas I think 10 psi/700 rwhp would be ok but I can't say for sure. Not many people doing that for a long period of time.
