I already have a fiore adjuster and quadrant. Probably going to call them tomorrow and see what they say. I plan on a whipple one day. I wonder how street friendly the 750hp clutch is?
PMP's quadrant and fw adjuster are better then what's on your car. The ramp rate is better on the PMP quad then the fore. Thus making pedal effort less. It's up to you because it's your ride. Just telling you what I know.
What's better about their firewall adjuster?
Dubbs, the best thing I can tell you is to call Wally or Walt. I know there are a bunch of horror stories with adj cables. But I also know not many people know how to adjust there clutch right. PMP will do you a better deal on better parts then anyone as far as the clutch and Trans go. They really know what they are talking about! It's not this stupid bs "put a twin disk in" the hype on this forum with improper use of parts just blows my mind somedays. With all that said, this is from my own personal use and experience in dealing with PMP. I'm sold, I'll never turn to someone else for drivetrain parts.
Also can I ask why you want to remove your twin disk?
I called them and I'm waiting for them to call back. I haven't put my rxt in yet! It's brand new in the box and I put it in the market to try and sell. I also have a brand new fiore adjuster and quadrant. Money is a little tight at the moment so I'm trying to find another alternative, as my work is cutting our hours. I've heard nothing but good things with promotion so I figured I'd give it a try. I'm also have my shop do the whole install, just hope they don't say "oh man a adjustable clutch cable!".
Also, my shop isn't the biggest fan of Mcleod clutches for some reason.
What clutches does your shop like? Spec...:bash:
You can but the clutch you have is way to much clutch for the mods. If a clutch is too agressive you'll tear up the rest of the drivetrain.
Interesting info, I thought I've seen alot of people using this clutch with around 450-500rwhp.
