lol, this isn't worth arguing. You are confused.
In short, yes.
You're caught up the terminology and semantics of it to see the answer right in front of your face. If it didn't resist the roll (or more correctly, the uneven distribution of suspension load from left to right) then there would be no point to install it in the first place.
Which side do disconnect?
Awesome, yea I've been 1.67 ready on 18's but it doesn't go as straight as I'd like.
Yea... Not really possible to run an Anti roll bar on a IRS I don't think
1 of the 2 I was looking at. Since I'm a dealer for Baseline, I thought about ordering theirs. A buddy of ran a team Z also and had no problems....I too want to keep my tail pipes.
lol...this is amusing
us stupid drag racing folk, refer to an anti-roll bar it's the one that the OP posted a picture of.
Although the road racing guy is partially correct in terminology and function he misses the point where the solid bar is Welded to the chassis to strengthen the chassis itself during launch.
JEEZUS you are the one arguing semantics here!! it doesn't matter what you call it. you obvously understand what the op means.
now do you have anything constructive to add to his thread?! fawk
lol...this is amusing
No...let me have it. My car has the factory sway bar, which is to prevent sway/body roll in the suspension while turning/cornering correct?
Your words not mine. I don't think drag racers are stupid. If you guys want to install parts that compromise the practical use of the car, go ahead. Just don't act like the part you're installing is SO unique and not hear about it from those with an understanding of suspension. If you understand how a car's street driveability is compromised by an ultra stiff sway bar/ARB, you can begin to understand how installing this anti-roll bar can affect your car on the street.
No it isn't. It's still mounted through a bushing just like... a sway bar!
Much more than you apparently, other than your oversimplified explanation that claims this part grants exclusivity into the super secret steering wheel neglecting club of Cobras!!! In all seriousness, I am trying to help. Unfortunately, experience from ARB users AND tech aren't welcome in this club.
Is this the kind of response that the OP is looking for?
BTW, the SUSPENSION forum may have been more appropriate for this thread.
