Got Scammed! Need Legal Advice And Any Information On This Guy!

Be proactive and call the detective and State Attorney weekly.
Call detective every other day! Better yet, stake out "Leon" when you have him pinned down at a spot, call detective to arrest him. Looks like you gotta do some leg work, cause unless he gets stopped, and run by police, he will be a free man.
I have to see this guy get what's coming to him.

yeaa after a few days of lookingthey kinda give up..so if hes dumb and gets pulled over they will run his name then a flag will pop up on the computer with a warrent for his arrest..soooo ha if u just happen to be driving around and see him let ur detective know or 911 and they will come grab him

Yeah, like I said a ****up like this can't avoid police contact for long. Did they say how far they'll extradite?

what a mess! and you sure do have faith in getting something back. i would have been at his house or uncles house taking the truck from them! did you ever see the title? maybe he has a lien on it and he doesnt have the title.anyways goodluck with getting something back. ive been i some similar deals that never worked out trying to do the legal way. 80 miles is a short trip when 15k is involved. not trying to be a smart ass but id make a 80 mile trip in a heart beat and i would be coming home with 15k or a truck! maybe some cuts and bruises also but i would never been playing this game!

It wouldn't be hard to drive 80 miles break a window out and take the truck. Would it be stealing if the truck is legally yours? And what is he going to do about it? It sounds like you have staked him out pretty well and know where he stays/goes. Just go take it, have some back up in case things go south.
the reason this guy is playing these games with you is because you are letting him.go get ur money or your truck.
