Bob's Auto Sports' - New Oil/Air Separator "Catch Can"

Installed Bob's separator this morning. Took all of 15 min. It really is a quality piece. I'll post up results after a few hundred miles.

So I got around to doing some work on the Shelby yesterday. Drained the Bob's oil can after about 1000 miles and got about 2 teaspoons...Never got anywhere near that amount in 5000 miles with the JLT. The only caution is make sure that it is not anywhere close to the AC hose. I noticed that I have a very small piece of rubber that came off because it was rubbing ever so sllightly. No issues though, just a small nick.

Same here..2 teaspoons after 1k miles. This thing works great.

Just an update for everyone. The firewall production brackets are almost ready. And we will be having some new colors soon too. I have 1 red carbon fiber can coming in and 1 blue one to test check out and post up here. If response is high enough I will make a batch!

Note the fittings are not screwed in all the way, just put in a few turns for pics. Soon there will be AN fittings similar to this available as an option :rockon:

Me too, but once on a car with the hose on it doesn't look so big. The ones I just ordered aren't the barb push on, but the type with the screw head (if that makes sense) and look smaller. I will get some pictures of them installed on my car once they are in.

The size of the fittings are required to support a 5/8" hose size.

Well it comes with the hose, you just trim to length. And soon you can order with the nice anodized AN fittings (not sure what the upcharge will be yet), currently they have the brass fittings like pictured on my website.

Did you check the hose that goes from the oil separator to the SC for oil residue?
