Hey guys, I just finished installing the Paxton kit I bought from Beef on my car.
I had a Lund base tune sent and planned on data logging and putting the car on the dyno tomorrow.
What happens is the car won't idle for more than 30 seconds before the rpm's start gettin low and the car dies. Also while the car is running if I rev it, it dies.
We double checked all hoses, maf, spark plugs are one step colder set to 0.035 gap and everything is ok.

It looks to me like the tune might be bad. It was loaded into my sct tuner successfully but when I try to data log I get an error message saying it failed setup of load pct and long term fuel trim bank 1

What do you guys think? I'm kinda leaning towards a bad tune but I can't really data log for Lund because the car dies

Here is a pic of the error message

Download Livelink 6.5 and try again. The Gen II Livelink doesn't work well with these cars from my experience.

Have him resend you the file. You can try and download it from Ken's website again, load it to your device and try and load it into your car again. Check everything I just PM'd you about.

He got it to log finally. Air Fuel is spot on but it starts to surge and dies after a few seconds. We either have a small issue with the tune or something with the install, but I'll figure it out either way.

I'm sure you will Ken. I was telling him in the PM about when I had loaded my base tune and you found my post-MAF leak just by looking at the data log.

We're working it out with Ken, car is still not drivable but idle is getting better and revs are getting better. Car keeps shutting off tho still.

Wondering if there could be a hardware issue with the id1000 injectors?

Well... I spent the entire day with Ken and we can't get the car to drive, the idle is alot better but as soon as I try to drive it the maf and tb go all Cazy on the data log. We checked for leaks, removed and cleaned the maf, checked the PVC valve. Everything seems ok.

I'm kinda lost right now, Lund and Ken will be talking and I'll have a reply on what's going to happen tomorrow

Check your bypass valve, kind of sounds like it might not be working correctly. Check to make sure you have a good vac source to the valve.

As far as I know it's installed as per instructions. From what I recal there is a vacuum hose attached to it going to a vacuum line at the break booster and the bypass valve releases into the atmosphere

I'm pretty sure if I remember correctly that's the only vacume line envolved on the entire set up. Now correct me if I'm wrong, wouldn't the bov only cause a problem under boost and not idle. I didn't think there was enough boost created until around 4k for that thing to even open. I think everything else that is modified is either Pcv related or coolant related.

I pulled one of the plugs out. It looks like this.

I also got a set of stock Shelby 47 lb injectors to try to rule out the id1000'd being bad
