How to quiet your '03/'04 Cobra shifter (other Mustangs, too)

I've been using your gasket for several years and just did some work on the tranny, noticed the old gasket was in need of replacement so I just ordered the PLUS kit from you. Thanks for keeping these in production, and improving them with the thicker version! If I understood your web site correctly, ALL your gaskets are now double thickness, is that correct?

Yes, Carl, all of my sets are now 1/16". I stopped making the 1/16" because literally 99% of my sales after announcing the thicker 1/16" PLUS series were the PLUS series. Thanks for the order, too. It mailed out on the 24th, so you should get it any day now.

Bob I know I already said this to you but just to throw this out there the plus series gasket is worth every penny. I paired it with a pro 5.0 and while not totaly silent the shifter is mostly quiet and a lot cleaner to work with than rtv.

Bob your shifter gasket came in the mail yesterday. All I can say is great product.. I had your original gasket, but I decided to replace it w/ the newer thicker kit while I had it all apart doing the clutch..
$15.00 it's a no brainer !!!!

No problem...it arrived the same day as my shifter. Installed it tonight and worked flawlessly. I will be ordering another one from you this winter for my coupe's T5.

What does the shifter noise sound like? My Cobra does not seem to make noise unless the previous owner put Bob's gasket in already. Do all cars make the noise or what?
