Woke up this morning to a nice steady rainfall, I walked out to her and we locked eyes. Niether of us were very happy about what was gonna happen next. I got in, massaged her a little, and drove to work. ****ING RAIN, NOBODY GOT TIME FOR YOUR SHIT!!!!
Thanks bro. Hardest part was getting the driveshaft unbolted. 12mm 12 pt socket with a small breaker bar and a 6" pipe on the end did the trick. Clearance is very tight, I couldn't gain access with any of my air tools.
I wet sanded with 1500 and 2000. Then used mothers mag polish with a powercone and drill, took a couple hours. It's probably at 70% of its potential, but as my wife said, you do realize that no one can see that, right? Ha. Women...
I removed my coil covers to repaint and add a nicer gloss finish, removed the current air intake for the last time, looked at my new JLT NEXTGEN high boost intake wiht anticipation of whats to come, and looked at the braided lines and ttwin 400 pumps and Div X hat that are all about to go on! Then i whispered sweet somethings to her saying "The 20th... then you will be better than ever!" It's the little things that matter... HAHA
I cruised down to a local car meet with her last night and had my buddy in his zo6 with me too. Gotta love pulling into the local meet and hearing everyone saying ohh shit look a cobra oh shit a zo6 lol gotta love it. Def a head turner!! I cant wait for spring to be here to really start getting the car out.
