Lol, I can't wait to see Chris drag me down the track.

Should be interesting. Wait, or are you talking about a customers 5.0.

Or wait, are you talking about a customers Shelby?

At this point, I'm really not sure how many cars, and how many non ,5.0s, they are planning on bringing in anticipation of me laying out their 5.0.

This is a 5.0 forum, I called out what is supposedly one of the baddest 5.0s around.

I'll make the 8 hour drive In my little grocery getter, see how many 5.0s, drag me down the track, and when that doesn't work, I'll let them go into the closet for a big displacement 5.4 Stroker, and see what they can do with that.

Then I'll hop in my little car and make the 8 hour drive home.

I'm actually honored that they feel the need to bring back ups, lol. And non 5.0 back ups at that.

LOL, i agree.

Here is the thing. I am die hard centrifical (paxton / vortech)

Steve says that the procharger is the best centrifical for these cars, which i highly disagree with, and that the Hellion Turbo kits, are even better.

So, a friendly little 5.0 callout seemed like it might be fun. I figured they would have had the white car at Bradenton, which they did not.

So, we decided on Atlanta. If they couldn't get it done with the white car, bring one of the twin hellions, or a procharger car, any customer car. Lets see what the best power adder for this platform is.

How a Stroker 5.4 fits into that scenario, I have no idea. That said, I really don't care, bring whatever street car / race car / whatever.

Maybe next i'll be running one of the BBR Sponsored Renegade or Outlaw cars, lol.

If i have to drive my car 8 hours to Atlanta to race a full blown race car that is not on the 5.0 platform, if that's what it takes, i'm game for it.

I can tell you this, there isn't any street 5.0 out there that is dragging me down the track.

So, bring your race cars, throw a 5.0 in a 2700lb fox body shell, bring your shelby's, it doesn't really matter, i'll race it. The further away from a street 5.0 it is, just makes it that much sweeter to me! :)

I like this!!!!! Go get em Beef! Any sponsor want me to drive this truck? The losers are gonna be needing it!!!!!!!!

the tires for my 17x7's will be here tomorrow, then a couple tweaks, and i'll be ready for atlanta,

that's the nice thing about having a car that you drive at the track, the same way you drive it every day

nothing drastic that needs to be done / changed to get it ready

i drive to the local track all the time, over an hour each way, typically out of town, i trailer, because of the distance.

not because i can't, that's why the plans to drive the almost 9 hours to the race in GA

I think thats kool. If you can do it with 1200hp and 8 sec qtr mile, no reason any of the street setups cant.. blower, turbo, nitrous or whatever. The coyote is a great platform and its a great time to be a mustang guy

Do you know of any high hp nitrous cars running nmra or street classes?

I only live about an hour away from BMP and have been meaning to take my car to the track with the new mods before summer gets here. When will this take place exactly?

I believe this will take place in GA, next week at the NMRA event.
