Right and there are full bolton 5.0s in the 12s etc. You seem to be having a hard time with comparing both cars under the same circumstance. Picking the slowest times for one car and comparing them to the fastest times of the other is far from an accurate comparison.

Average bone stock C6 Z06 traps around 125mph with average driver at the wheel. C6 Z06 with tune/CAI is a different animal than a stock one...They pick up a lot of power with tune/CAI being that it's a 7.0L race motor...Not sure what you're trying to say because the OP's car is more than a "bolt on" 5.0...It's bolt on with bigs/littles/E85/Cobra Jet intake/etc etc and traps what a stock C6 Z06 will trap...mid 120's, not to mention puts down more power to the wheels than a stock C6 Z06. You're clearly a Corvette troll who hasn't researched very much on the 5.0's but can't stand to hear that a 5.0L is beating a 7.0L. My 2 cents
Two things, why do you say the z06 has a "race motor" and why do you keep harping on the fact that the corvette has 7.0L compared to the 5.0L?
How can a factory car with a factory warranty that is mass produced have a "race engine"? Why does the displacement of each engine matter? Is the z06 less impressive because of the 5.0 has the potential to beat one when its heavily modded? I'm not understanding your logic.

Interesting thing about the list that FivePointOMG posted was that the highest trap speeds in the 11 second and 10 second club have Superchargers or Turbos. There is a Supercharged 5.0 trapping 127 with an Auto. So, if a Bolt-on only car is trapping mid 120's all day, why is it that this one with 150+ more RWHP is trapping only 2-3 MPH more?
Anyhow, I won't go through all of the entire list, but, your average Full bolt-on 5.0 with a tire/slicks/skinnies traps between 117-1119 to be perfectly fair.
After spending about 10 minutes reviewing the list, here is what I found.
One guy with a Built Shortblock and bolt-ons is trapping 120. Must be the driver.

Trap speeds aren't the end all be all of (drag) racing... Theres no Denying there ARE coyotes trapping mid to low 120s all motor, but a '13-14 gt500 traps ~123-125... obviously you line those 2 cars up on the road and the 5.0 will get walked <- thats coming FROM a CJ coyote owner, no if's and's or but's about it, the 5.0 will get walked. Lets take this a step further and compare a '12 Boss to a '12 GT500. BOTH are trapping right around mid to high teens right, but with an obvious 110 hp advantage to the GT500, thats a different story on the street.
* All above mentioned times are from magazines, since we will assume they are "reasonably good" drivers, not some driver mod God or someone who's never driven stick before.
Trap speeds can be an indicator of "pull power" on the street, but most roll races keep going to speeds well past the end of the 1/4. The difference between a 125 trap speed and 122-123 is much greater at 130-150 than it is at 100-120, which is something i think a lot of people in this thread are failing to realize. Its gotten to be so many pages now that people are forgetting the OP and not really paying attention to what "actually" happened. We can see the Z06 is out trapping the Coyote, we can see the OP said the Z06 was pulling back, and we can see that the race shut down pretty early ... whats left to argue? Are Z06 owners THAT unwilling to admit a 5.0 that is NOT BOLT ON, the CJ is well above a bolt on coyote, could be anywhere near them despite the similar horsepower numbers?

Lol watch the vids that I posted...NONE of those have blowers or spray or built motors. Anyways, I'll admit maybe they don't run mid 120's (they do run low 120's) (omg my ego is so badly hurt I don't know if I'll sleep tonight)...But it's still more than believable that they could pull a bone stock C6 Z06 driven by the average ass hat you'll run into on the street as shown by the videos of C6 Z06's I posted as well as tons of others I watched on Youtube last night.

Regardless of the videos you posted, you defended and argued the point that they trap mid 120's multiple times. At least you admitted you are wrong, in a flamboyant and indirect way so as to save face.
Again, I stated, for the 3rd time now...... OP'S KILL STORY IS BELIEVABLE IN MY OPINION. I AGREE THAT HE WON. What I don't agree with is that every Stock C6Z he runs he will edge out. You know what they are capable of with a driver that can bang gears, that should not be dismissed as you've so easily done based on your own loyalty.
Suppose I should continue the trend. I work a minimum of 50 hours a week, haven't used a sick day in years, and even though I get 21 days of vacation, the chances of me being able to use that time is slim:none.
