Do us all a favor and go away or stop posting. No one cares about MY as the argument was as stated that it was to counter rumors and misinformation that you q ups receive the SVT sooner which is not true; there will be some time longer. Members from 6g, including yourself, disputed the resident experts here with their info and kept spreading that bs turning this place into a shit show like it is in this thread. So please stop with the back and forth cause you're clogging up the thread.

Misinformation specifically affects this section because there's a lot of new members looking for info on the 2015+ and you have a bunch of jackasses arguing that it's coming out sooner than expected, and then all these stupid threads pop up from new members asking stupid questions in wrong sections and without searching first. It's getting old.

Again, information about the only thing that matters (availability) has been consistent. Funny you say no one cares about model year when this thread was started by Chris! specifically to point out model year.

Anyway no worries, I don't have a forum I am "loyal" to but am done with this thread and will continue to let guys like "on d bit" drivel on about it.

Yes, no one cares about model year as its just a number, but the misinformation was coming out that with a 15 designation it would somehow be released sooner. The correction on here was that that would not be the case; even if it was a 2015 it would be longer for its release.

It has not been consistent to those who dont read every post like you do. And the information from 6g and here is very inconsistent.

My issue with people saying that it is definitely a 15 my is this:
People hear my 15 and think its coming out at the same time or shortly after the 15 mustang. Which it is not.
People hear my 15 next calendar year and they think it will be out Jan or Feb 2015(the next calendar year). And it will not.

If you say my15 make sure to include summer of 15 or june/july 15 or later in your statement or people from either website will jump the gun yet again.

No, they don't. Only you.

"Calendar year" does not mean only January or February. That's not up for interpretation. It's just English.

Yes, they do. You haven't exactly been here long enough to tell us otherwise because it's not the first time it's happened. It happens almost every go around. It's just as bad as people asking if SVT is dead.

What does a basic understanding of the English language have to do with how long I have been here? And how is "SVT will be available in calendar year 2015" any different than "SVT will be available in 2015" ? Another true statement: "The 2015 Mustang will go on sale in calendar year 2014."

Anyone with poor reading comprehension or low IQ (not talking about you) can misinterpret anything. Why do you care what these people think.

http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Model_year

"The model year and the actual calendar year of production rarely coincide. For example, a 2009 model year automobile is available during most of the 2009 calendar year, but is usually also available from the third quarter of 2008 because production of the 2009 model began in July and August 2008."

The term "calendar year" is used to differentiate between model year all the time. There is no implication of time of year in this term.

When you use the term calendar year you are stating it will be available early in the calendar year such as Jan or Feb. We know this is just not true.

No, it is not. Jesus, it is like the twilight zone here.

Edit - forget it. Carry on with your own brand of English.

What a lame thread after the sneak peek at the order guide....way to get WAY off topic! There is an order guide out...cool things to read through, why can't we leave it at that. Aside from that I don't care when it comes out I just wish Ford would say "We aren't telling anyone anything but on XX/XX/XX all the information will be revealed about the Next Mustang SVT product!" That is all I want a date when they are going to tell us! Thanks for the sneak peak Chris and thanks for the good information, as minute as it was it was pretty cool!

Ummm, no. It means somewhere in that year. It's like a friend saying I'm gonna stop over tomorrow. Do you assume they're only going to be there at 1 or 2?
