Thanks brother. It was long time coming, but we got it to work. LEXIION is working on a final solution for the 2010. It's going to be a lot of work, but cheaper than taking a hit on your car and buying a 2013.

It can work, just at the moment it will cost a lot of money to have a fully functional cluster with the steering feel, track apps, launch control and gauges. Their are extra expenses with a 2009 verses a 2010. If you look at the end of page 1, you'll see LEXIION and his 2010 Roush. He almost has the whole solution, which could be applied to a 2010 GT500. I hope it can be done be done, between the new cluster and my new Recaro's, I feel like I'm driving a new car. I'm loving it.... :rockon:

Sub'n for the launch control fix on the 5.0

AZMcLovin looks great, love the 220mph speedo, been wanting to do this to my 2011 5.0, I guess if we 5.0 guys went with the Boss cluster everything would work right wouldn't it? Or is it about the programming?

All about programming and what option you. If my color is of no interest to you, you could do the boss cluster but I liked that feature and didn't want to give it up, so I went with a GT500 Cluster.

I do like the my color feature, I want the 220 speedo most of all, but want all the track apps to work, especially the LC

If I had a 5.0 then I would have to do a BOSS cluster and flash my PCM with a 2013 calibration. That way you can just get the track key. The thing is I'm not sure how it would work out with your dealer and you needing to provide a VIN. I know there are some dealerships that could care less and they do it. Launch Control is written into the calibration of the PCM for that vehicle.

If launch control isn't that important to you and you are a 2011 or 2012 5.0, you can right now have what AZMcLovin Has which is steering feel, gauges, track apps and no DTC's. 2011 and 2012 GT500's have no issues and everything works as it should.

To be honest, I'm shocked no one has done this install on their GT500. As soon as I found out about it, it was all I wanted. To each his own I guess.

My buddy has a 13 Boss, I know he said his launch control doesn't work anymore after a AED custom tune, but he said he used something else in his track apps that basiclly did the same thing, iirc the track key doesn't work after a tune but Idk.

Jon Lund said if he could get someone to pull the track key tune off with an SCT tuner, he could take a look at the tune and see if he could get the info about launch control.

Maybe your friend would be that nice? :-D

please keep me posted,i actually was considering selling mine and starting over with a 2013-14.This would save me and I have 12K extra in my car I would loose.+i am really attached to my 5hundie...

I have a 2010 and do not intend to sell ever. I am very interested in having the 2011-2013 upgrades in my 2010. Keep me posted or PM me.

First off great write up and thanks for sharing this with everyone. Some people like to keep shit a secret rather than allowing other people to enjoy this mod.

I plan on doing this in the near future to my 2012 5.0 but have a couple of questions.

If I read all the post correctly I can use a 2013-2014 boss cluster and PCM flash and the only thing that wont work is the my color feature? I ask this cause I wonder if it would be easier for my tuner to adjust my tune if it is now a boos pcm code rather than the gt500...being that the boss is still a 5.0

Also all the pinouts and wiring is the same for the 5.0 as you outlined here for your gt500?

Yes you can use a 2013 BOSS cluster and you would loss MyColor capabilities. You would flash your PCM to a 2013 BOSS or 5.0. You can not flash your PCM to GT500 because a 5.0 is so different your tuner couldn't make your car run right ever. PCM code for a 2013 5.0 is: DR3A - ACD.
All the pin outs are the same no matter what car you have. Just get all the parts you need and flash using the code I just gave you. You will just need Lund or your tuner to write a tune with a 2013 strategy for a 5.0.
