Linky?!?!?!

I would have linked it, but the Automobile magazine's site is like rolling into 1998. ;-) It sucks.

The site of the manufacturer:

•7.0L LS7 engine produces 505 horsepower and 481 lb.-ft. of torque
•TREMEC® TR6060 6-speed close-ratio manual transmission
•High-performance Torsen helical limited-slip differential
•Advanced aerodynamic package delivers incredible downforce while cooling critical components
•Multimatic DSSV dampers
•Dry sump oiling system
•Standard track-designed integrated cooling system that includes liquid-to-liquid cooling systems for oil, transmission and differential
•19” aluminum wheels with high-performance Pirelli® Trofeo™ summer-only tires
•Brembo® carbon-ceramic brakes
•Steering wheel and short-throw shifter provide superior driving feel
*2-Year maximun Warranty

Another hint. :rollseyes You'll admit the dry sump and ceramic brakes are good for Road America?

Will Ford ever step up and offer a similar car?

Doc...With that great description you posted, I am sure Bruce can lap them at Road America in his 15 year old 00R :) With all of the Chinese parts getting thrown on GM's, I am sure they will all break in the first lap.

No matter how fast they make those cars you can be rest assured there will always be some slow drivers in them. ;-)

I never said he couldn't lap them.

I was just waving a yellow flag for when the new young guys hit the grid. The younger crowd hit me, and I lost. They have more money and track time in go-carts.

They don't give a shit that I won a championship or two. They will wreck me if I get in their way.

I was faster 6 years ago (RD Atl 2008):

Bruce,
The new racing crowd, in the recent HSR Daytona 24 Hour Classic, had pro co-drivers. Just saying, a factory-backed driver is going to kick my butt. :-D

Here: The Classic 24 Hour Daytona was held November 12-16 2014 at the 12-turn, 3.56-mile Daytona International Speedway road course in Daytona Beach, Florida.

My favorite pictures in 2014 was this Mustang (it blew up). It can happen to anyone:

I drove my Cobra R many times:

My vintage race car is still going after 17 years:

The vintage car is not done yet. I have a full racing season planned in 2015.

I bought a small little revolver called a .357 Magnum. It's a snub. It fits in my pocket. I've tuned it by removing the right side plate to get it to work better. I also added the front Tyler to the stocks due to the strong recoil. It's good to go.

Very nice... For some odd reason I am on an old gun kick right now. I am looking for old lever guns and a pre 1900 Colt Peacemaker. Maybe its the half way point to my mid-life crisis?

1) Old lever guns as to pre-1964 Winchesters are already and long ago priced in the market. I'd shop for ~1964-1973 rifles at a good price. They work well.

2) The pre-1900 Colt is a 1894/1896 Army. The Model 1905 Marine Corp is valuable. The problem here is the calibers. Good luck buying .38-40. .44 Russian, .44-40, or .450 Eley.

3) Keep it simple. The post war DA (double action) revolvers are nice. A Detective Special in nickel and in .38 Special:

This S&W (pinned) .38 Special in nickel is less money than two tires in one weekend at Gingerman/Road America/Watkins Glen:

It looks good, it's affordable, and can quickly stop a home invasion. You can buy ammo at WalMart.

I am in love with that Colt. Would you like to sell it to me?

My home defense gun is a suppressed AR15. I am waiting on the SBR paperwork to come back. The suppressor makes it nice in which you can effectively communicate with other members of your household. Even my 91 year old grandmother approves.

Sorry not that one. I bought it new many years ago (with a S&W Model 10) so I have to keep them. Other than a few keepers, I am an active trader which is very legal here.

Nice picture of your grandmother. She is a sport to show off the Colt AR-15.

What's on your 'to buy' list in 2015?

Darn, she is gorgeous. I really want a Colt peacemaker in .45 long colt. I have an old black powder gun that I converted over to that caliber and it is so much fun to shoot.

Hmm.. My list..
1. Old Winchester lever guns
2. Colt Peacemaker
3. Colt Python
4. Remington Rand 1911
5. Colt Series 80 1911 (This will complete my 1911 collection.. After this I will only be collecting doubles :) )
6. Artillery Luger. I have always wanted one of these... This may be towards the later part of this year or next.

That is really all that I have on my list. What are you looking to purchase?

I agree. I can't really afford the original Model 0f 1873, but I can afford the replica's. :)

1. Old Winchester lever guns
Are you talking about the pre-1963 Winchester or the post 1963?

3. Colt Python
I have that 1962 Python. IMO, they are greatly overpriced in todays' market.

4. Remington Rand 1911
I had a few circa WW2 pistols. I sold them. It's just that modern CNC equipment is much better than tech in 1945.

5. Colt Series 80 1911 (This will complete my 1911 collection
I agree.

6. Artillery Luger
Say what? :-D

What's on your 'to buy' list in 2015?
I'd like to find a S&W Registered Magnum, a non-registered Magnum, or another S&W pre-27. :-D

I rent two spots in a local warehouse with several other guys. It works well. My trailer is parked out back, and I can work on my stuff when I feel like it. We trade out free labor to each other: I'll help change an engine if you help me change an engine. We have a frigde for cold beer ;-) .

The guy in charge rented a couple of spots to a Tudor Team. They are over here from Sonoma for the Daytona 24 Hour and the Sebring 12 Hour. They may have a better truck:

But they still have to install an engine with a cherry picker like the rest of us.

It's the #45. I tried to buy some old front brakes, but they wouldn't fit the Cobra. This is a Audi R8 with a V-10:

The media would like you to think the Colt Python is the Big Deal. It isn't.

There are lots of reasons to love the Colt Python. It has been described as "the Rolls-Royce of Colt revolvers," and you won't find many who disagree. It's well-made, accurate, powerful, and looks pretty mean. But all those qualities have been around for decades, so why have prices for this trusty wheelgun suddenly jumped?

I'll state this plainly: The Colt is just a .357 and very hard to work on. It's a Chevy with high maintenance.

I have two; One:

Well, i bought a new toy today but I forgot to take a picture... I bought a 1985 SWD MAC11-A1 in .380 that is brand new in the box. I am going to put the Lage 9mm upper on it and do some machine gun competitions with it. I wanted the .380 version since the gun is actually 2" shorter than the MAC11/9. I should of taken a picture of it since I won't see it for a year.
