A Trans Am is always a fun bet, if you can get one for a steal they won't go down, they have bottomed out. But then again I'm biased and have one.
GTO's are cheap, STI, Evo's always seem to hold their value.

Hell, Wrangler?

You must have been high that day. Leather full power both seats including incline. leather armrest on the door panels. Faux suede on the door panels, lower dash, and lower center console. Usable full leather back seat. Soft touch dash and door panels, S550 still has a hard plastic door panel?? The only thing that could remotely be typical cheesy GM is the A/C controls.

Must be. I wasnt impressed though, much like the G8's though id overlook it for the rest of what you get.

Nassua Blue FRC? You seem to like rare combos. They only made 352 SW 01 Z06s and id guess maybe 25-30 Hugger Orange SS cars with white leather (white being the main issue).

Short list:
- 04 CE Z06
- 87 TTA
- 87 WE4 buick
- Prob a midly higher mileage 07 GT500
- Mystic

For $25k you can buy a nice built Terminator. I'd go that route. You won't lose money if you lightly drive it.

Yes I would most definitely consider a nasau blue frc. There is one for sale on CF right now.

I keep telling myself I want a super clean ws6 or formula T/A with t tops and mn6. Room for all 4 of us, values won't drop as they are no longer made. Target '02, last model year, or '99 anniversary edition. I can't see those values going anywhere but up. Back in '01/02 the ws6 was the first car that I dreamt of. Terminator soon took its place after its debut in '03. Perfect stable for me for the next 5 years would be clean t/a, terminator and c5z. Nice examples of each could all be had for <$25,000. I keep hoping the guy that bought my sonic blue car will want to sell it, he most recently said maybe this spring which leaves me hopeful.

After some more research I think values of the lower mileage gen 2 vipers are a bit out of my range realistically.

My vote also, I'm actually trying to track down the right one for myself currently. I've been wanting one of these since I was in middle school and I figure now is the time since I'd like something newer to drive to work on nice days and these things are starting to really go up in value. Low mile examples are pushing 30 to 40 grand these days, 80-110k mile cars usually bring 18-23 grand depending on condition. You can buy a 00MY for a couple grand less than a 01-03 (facelift) because some people still believe they are more unreliable while others just want the facelift stuff. A friend of mine has a 109k mile 2000 in carbon black and I always steal the keys to it when I can. This car is still the benchmark for performance sedans, Road & Track just compared one to the 2014 Chevy SS and the SS couldn't outperform a 03 M5 on original 12 year old low tread tires.

This is the 9 minute short film BMW made for the E39 M5 back in the day, I'm not sure what else could sell this car.

M5 is too slow and expensive to maintain IMO.

OP for 25k you could get a 2008 LS3 C6 corvette, just need to watch out for a deal.

GTO seats are some of the most comfortable seats I've sat in. Interior really isn't that bad for a car put together in 2004.

Looks like I could pick up a c6 LS3 with <50k miles for $25k. I like the package the GTO offers, but I do not like the exterior styling of the car.

Sounds like you have an itch for a WS6. You should be able to find a damn nice one and still be way under your budget. It's not a life sentence, buy one drive it for a year and sell it if it's not true love. Only problem is I don't believe it will hold it's value like a C6z or Terminator will. Obviously a rare combination car will help. A C6 might be in your range, but you will definitely lose money on a standard vette over the next few years.

didn't see his comparison either. I had a 00 GTP also. The GTO was way ahead of the curve on interior materials. For those that haven't been in one. The red on the door panels is leather. The red on the center console, under dash, and lower part of door is faux suede.
