I didn't care for the glass roof on my car before I had it. Now I love it.

Glass roof was my requirement on both of my Shelby's. My car at the track weigh's in at 3,975lbs without driver. TP, PP, Shaker, Glass roof, Recaros

If I had to guess it's besides the glass there is probably extra bracing. Like with verts?

I guess I'm in the minority in that I was indifferent about the glass roof in the car. Then again two of my other vehicles have a very similar "look" with glass portions of the roof. I liked it initially for the novelty, but got tired of the extra overhead light and ended up never exposing myself to the extra light and kept the roof shut all the time.
Now if it's fresh air, like T-tops (which I've always liked in cars) that is more appealing at least to me.

^^^^I am in the minority too. While I think the glass roof looks fine I have always been a no sunroof/moonroof/glass roof buyer on all my vehicles and like a coupe without any of them.

i read that the glass roof doesn't really add much weight but I am not certain. Being a TP/PP car it definitely does though. There is no extra bracing for the Glass Roof. Its actually probably stronger if you think about it.

I remember seeing a thread where a guy with a 13-14 posted his weight. He was an all options car, minus the glass roof. His weight was 3,850lbs.

Me too. Do not like verts unless its a classic '67 Vette 427 roadster or a '68 Shelby GT500 KR but otherwise none for me.

Glass roof is the best. I like the openness above the glass roof gives you. Would not buy a vehicle without it or sunroof/moonroof.

Thanks for all the feed back guys, 99% sure I'm buying the silver 2014. I always told myself if I sold my 13 I would own a 14 next. The one thing thats defiantly going happen is i'm adding blue stripes. I want it to look just like this one.

I checked the price the other day, it's listed for 57k on Auto trader. That's a little high. I'll probably offer them 55k
